WHERETOCURE (hereinafter referred as “WHERETOCURE”) operates a digital platform for the provision of advertising for medical service providers including but not limited to hospitals, clinics, thermal centers/hotels, spa&wellness centers/hotels, senior care centers and disabled care centers  (“Healthcare Provider”) around the world, whether through our website or on our microsites, landing pages and mobile applications (“Digital Platform”) to the user (“User”).

 

By using the WHERETOCURE website, user fully accepts this Privacy Policy and allows WHERETOCURE to collect, use and/or disclose information in accordance with this agreement and confirms the fact that WHERETOCURE has an authority to perform above mentioned actions.

 

The supply of user personal data has voluntary nature. It is user’s decision whether or not user want to provide WHERETOCURE with user personal information. However, if user is willing to use WHERETOCURE healthcare and concierge services user will have to disclose personal information as stated in this agreement. Your personal information will only be used for the purpose of WHERETOCURE delivering healthcare and concierge services to users.

 

User information is being collected for operational purposes. Without having these information, WHERETOCURE will not be able to provide user with a service that has been chosen. Therefore, collection of data is necessary and directly related to the purpose of healthcare and concierge services.

 

WHERETOCURE value the user personal data, therefore WHERETOCURE ensures that user’s personal information is protected and well secured. For purposes of protecting user data please read and accept the following agreement.

 

The information that is collected automatically is used for, but not limited to, the following instances:

·         To provide the User with the latest updates of the digital platform and/or thehealthcare and concierge services;

·         To notify the User of any special offers that may become available on digital platform;

·         In order to provide users with all the functionality of the the digital platform and/or the healthcare and concierge services;

·         In order to gather internal analytics and to improve the digital platform and/or the healthcare and concierge services.

·         Guide You through digital platform and available services and offers;

·         Tailoring the solution precisely to Your specific needs;

·         Creating a profile of users in the system for a more efficient service provision in future;

·         Providing updates, news and information concerning the digital platform and/or the healthcare and concierge services;

In order to provide healthcare and concierge services to users, users are required to provide WHERETOCURE with a short description of user request in a special form on the digital platform. Such request may contain medical, and other personal or sensitive data. Please be attentive when providing such data. WHERETOCURE applies best efforts in order to keep such information safe and secure. However we cannot ensure complete security due to unforeseeable technical malfunctions and/or other reasons and action that are beyond WHERETOCURE control. Therefore it is user’s responsibility to choose what information to indicate in any part of digital platform and/or the healthcare and concierge services.

 

Phone calls and other means of communication:

Information described above and hereafter may as well be collected via a telephone call/conversation with one of Healthcare Team member in order to provide the healthcare and concierge services.

 

In case You do not agree with this Privacy policy as a whole or with a part of it please do not provide any personal data and/or specific information via phone call and/or via alternative means of communication (e.g. whatsapp, messengers, email etc.).

 

In order to comply with the applicable laws, WHERETOCURE is required to record the phone calls between users and Healthcare Team members. WHERETOCURE is also required to preserve such recordings for a period of not more than two years. WHERETOCURE keeps such recordings with full responsibility and awareness of their content, however it is user’s sole responsibility to choose what information user disclose and provide on such call with Healthcare Team members.

 

WHERETOCURE is the only data collector, controller and responsible for the handling of the information provided either via its digital platforms or through the communication between the User, Healthcare Provider and third parties with one or multiple WHERETOCURE healthcare service team members (the “Healthcare Team”). WHERETOCURE, in the course of its operations, may use third party partners, service providers and affiliates to fulfill its healthcare and relevant concierge services, and may share the information provided by the User to these third parties. WHERETOCURE shall remain responsible for the data collected and shared under the Privacy Policy, except where it can be established that WHERETOCURE was not responsible for a violation.

 

Personal Data:

The collection and use of personal data (any information such as name, phone number, email address, date of birth etc) is undertaken in accordance with the Republic of Turkey laws and regulation.

The User can use the Digital Platform without any personal data being collected. However, for the purpose of being able to assess the use the Platform and to avoid or deal with technical problems, the IP address of the User will automatically be recorded and stored in a log file on the server with every visit to WHERETOCURE’s website and each time a file is accessed. Under certain circumstances, IP addresses can be traced back to the specific User. WHERETOCURE nonetheless does not undertake analyses to achieve this end nor does it use such data for its own promotional purposes, nor does it keep such data for use by third parties.

 

The collection of personal data and specific user data (including information regarding medical status, health situation, ethnicity etc) is required to conclude and execute a contract, open a customer account or to establish contact with WHERETOCURE or a Healthcare Provider partner of WHERETOCURE. This data will be used only for the purposes mentioned above, as described in our consent form (“Consent Form”). To fulfil these purposes, the User data will be stored in compliance with tax and trade law requirements.The User may use specific services (“Healthcare Services”) provided by WHERETOCURE or its partners. For this purpose, the User’s consent to the collection, and use of his or her personal data and, as the case may be, specific personal data.

 

This applies to the following Specific Services:

WHERETOCURE provides an online marketplace enabling the User to get in contact with a Healthcare Provider and third party service providers and affiliates (e.g. travel agencies, customer service agencies, payment providers or translators etc) whose services are released through Digital Platform.

 

In the event that a Healthcare Provider concludes a contract regarding medical treatment with the User, the User consents that the Healthcare Provider informs WHERETOCURE about the type and the date of the medical treatment and the amount and the date of any invoice submitted by the Healthcare Provider to the User.

 

In the event that a third party service provider concludes a contract with the User regarding certain services, the User shall allow the third party service provider to inform WHERETOCURE about the amount and the date of any invoice submitted by the service provider to the User.In the event that the User is a policyholder of an Insurance company (“Insurer”) partner of WHERETOCURE, the User shall allow the Healthcare Provider, third party service provider and Insurer to inform WHERETOCURE about the specific data regarding the healthcare treatment of the User, the amount and the date of any invoice submitted by the service provider to the User or to the Insurer.

 

WHERETOCURE uses the user data for its own advertising and will send to the User via email, call, sms or by mail information about WHERETOCURE, new healthcare services, new partners in the field of healthcare etc.

 

WHERETOCURE uses a variety of third party service providers and partners to help on providing services related to the Platform. These third party service providers and partners may be located inside or outside of Turkey. The third party service providers and partners have limited access to the User information to perform their healthcare or concierge tasks in contact with WHERETOCURE, and are contractually obligated to use it consistent with this Privacy Policy.

 

As far and to the extent that the passing on of personal data and specific personal data to third parties is not allowed pursuant to the aforementioned provisions, we will pass on personal data and specific personal data to third parties only in the following events: We provide personal data and specific personal data to our third party partners and partners  to render a service that WHERETOCURE cannot render via its own means, based on WHERETOCURE’s instructions and in compliance with its Privacy Policy and who have set up appropriate confidentiality and security measures (e.g. payment providers)

 

The User has the right to oppose the collecting, processing and use of user data and specific personal data with effect for the future. For this, please send an email with a brief explanation to info@wheretocure.com and specify name, email address and phone number as it was submitted in aplication forms.

 

WHERETOCURE may also compile, reconcile and share user information and non-personal data for industry search and market analysis, demographic profiling, marketing and advertising, and for other WHERETOCURE business purposes.

 

User’s Consent

By clicking the appropriate check box during an inquiry and checkout process, the User is consenting to the following forms of data processing:

 

The User consents that WHERETOCURE may collect, store and use the user data and personal data which is submitted as part of the inquiry process for the purpose of: (1) forwarding such data to the Healthcare Provider selected by the User, or if no specific Healthcare Provider is selected, to up to three Providers selected by WHERETOCURE based on certain criteria (health condition, preferred country etc) for either a quote or a booking of healthcare services provided by the Healthcare Provider, (2) forwarding these data to third party service providers, inside and outside of Turkey to render a service by WHERETOCURE, based on WHERETOCURE’s instructions and in line with this Privacy Policy and who have set up appropriate confidentiality to provide customer service, advertising, or payments services, (3) providing any service the User signed up for on the website, and (4) for internal price calculation and quote review purposes, in each case to the extent necessary for such purpose and as further described in this Privacy Policy.

 

The User consents that WHERETOCURE may review, scan, or analyse the User communications either on the Platform or over email with the Healthcare Provider partner of WHERETOCURE for fraud prevention, risk assessment, investigation, product development, research, and customer support purposes. WHERETOCURE uses automated methods to reviewor analyse the User communications, however, occasionally WHERETOCURE may need to manually review some communications for fraud investigations and customer support, or to assess and improve the functionality of these automated tools.

 

OTHER DATA:

A log file (including the date and time of the request, the amount of data transferred etc) is created for all visitors of WHERETOCURE’s website and every time a file is accessed. Due to technical limitations, these data cannot be identified as belonging to a specific User. We do not merge or compare these data with other data sources; the data is deleted after being used for statistical evaluation.

 

WHERETOCURE collects and stores anonymous data for optimisation and marketing purposes, for example on anonymous User profiles or on User behaviour. To this end Flash and cookies may also be used. If the User do not wish cookies, they can disable them.

 

Please note that by filling out the request form on the digital platform, users automatically agree to receive informational or advertising messages from WHERETOCURE.

 

USE OF COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

WHERETOCURE uses cookies or similar technologies to analyze trends, administer the digital platform, track users’ movements around the digital platform, and gather demographic information about the user base. User may control the use of cookies in their browser settings and they can allow or forbid the use and acceptance of cookies on their computer.

 

GOOGLE ANALYTICS:

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. Google will use this information on WHERETOCURE behalf for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to us. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, please note that if you do this, you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

 

WHERETOCURE reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time in accordance with this provision. WHERETOCURE will make available any changes of the Privacy Policy on this website.

 

WHERETOCUREreservesthe right to revise and to change the this privacy policy. In case of adopting any changes to this Privacy Policy userswill be informed by updating the date at the top of this Policy,

therefore WHERETOCURE suggest the users visiting this Policy from time to time. We strongly encourage users to familiarize themselves with the policy when user access the digital platform.

 

Except in situations clearly stated within this Privacy Policy, we do not disclose, sell, lease, lend, rent or make available personal information of the user to any other third parties.
